Ray Ray & Uvon

RAYRAY - Ray Hinkle Manager/Bassist/Musical Director/Webmaster has become a regular at CARE Partnership from teaching our kids about the Blues and Jazz to sharing his incredible talent entertaining at special events. RAYRAY does not come alone ~ he brings singer Uvon "the little lady with the big voice" and fellow muscians.

Born into a family of jazz musicians, RayRay's early influences were mostly horn players: Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, etc. He always loved the bass and was really impressed by: Ron Carter, Ray Brown, and Paul Chambers.

It wasn't until his late teens and early twenties that he began listening to rock and realized
that blues was the common denominator and the root of all popular music.

Inspired by: Albert Collins, Lightnin' Hopkins, BB King, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Big Bill Broonzy and others, RayRay stays firmly rooted in the blues and continues to be a driving force on the music scene today.
