Based on needs assessments over the years, CARE has brought many health services to the community. CARE helped establish acute care mobile health clinics for the uninsured throughout the valley.

In addition to facilitating a partnership between Christ the King Church and Mission of Mercy for the first site, CARE provided phones and community investors for scheduling well over 5,000 appointments for seven years for their Mesa, Tempe, Glendale and Phoenix locations. We identified medical and other needed services in our efforts to help approximately 5,000 additional callers each year.

CARE provides a site and community investor support each week for the St. Joseph?s Hospital Maternity Outreach Mobile (MOM) Clinic. Over 600 prenatal and postnatal exams are provided for low-income women each year. Many of these patients and their families then return to CARE for other programs and to serve as community investors.

Family Planning Clinic
The ABC approach has been used in our HIV prevention education and counseling since the inception of the family planning services. Adolescents and single clients are advised that the safest way to prevent HIV is to remain abstinent, committed couples and married couples are advised that monogamy is the safest way to prevent HIV and for those whose behaviors put them at risk for HIV are advised that consistent condom use minimizes their risk of HIV transmission.


CARE Partnership's Family Planning Clinic provides reproductive health services, STD screening and health education free or at a low cost, based on a sliding scale.
